asana yoga

Arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you can get signed in, set up, and centered before class starts. If it is your first time at the studio, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete registration paperwork.

Silence your phone to keep the yoga space peaceful and free of distractions.

Be considerate of others and keep your voice down if there is a class in session.

Listen to your body. Remember that yoga is not a competition; it is a deeply personal mind-body practice. Your body and your practice may feel different from day to day, but pain never has a place in your practice. Respect yourself, listen carefully to your teacher’s instructions, stay safe, and embrace modifications as needed.

Let us know. Talk to your teacher about any injuries, pregnancy, or health conditions before class begins.

Practice saucha (cleanliness). Remove your shoes before entering the yoga space, keep your belongings tidy, return any props used to their rightful place, and use the provided mat spray to wipe down the studio’s mats after use.

Try not to eat at least 2 hours before class. You will enjoy your practice much more when your body is not busy trying to digest! Also, please do not chew gum during class.
